“What happens to this mission if I can no longer lead?” He realised that by keeping the spotlight on himself, he had created a dependency. If he fell ill or stepped away, the team wouldn’t know how to survive. He hadn’t built a resilient team; he had built a group of followers who didn’t know how to find the hero in themselves. He had failed to go all out for their growth.

To solve this, Mog developed a new way of leading based on a core belief: You are Mog. “Mog” stands for Minutiae Original—which means Detailed Authenticity. Mog believes that every single person on a team is unique in a detailed, authentic way. True empowerment happens when a leader stops looking for “clones” and starts understanding the specific, detailed DNA of the individuals they work with.
